Manager Application Services

You will be part of the Shared Service Center IT (SSC IT) management team and report to the Director of SSC IT. The management team includes Cyber & Security, Enterprise Architecture, Digital Change, IT Operations, and Data & BI, with whom you will collaborate directly to achieve company objectives.

As Manager Application Services, you will be responsible for the quality of the information landscape and the processes within Lely’s SSC IT. You will lead a team of Team Leads, whose expertise covers the following areas: Solution Architecture, Application Development and Management, Testing, and Integration Development and Management. In total, the team consists of approximately 45 colleagues.

Together with your team, you will translate the company’s vision and strategy into a conceptual design of the information landscape. You will work within the frameworks of Enterprise Architecture and Security Architecture and oversee and monitor processes such as DevOps and application management.

Your Responsibilities

• Development of SSC IT: Contribute as a management team member to the implementation of Lely's strategy and co-develop the IT strategy and roadmap.
• Management and Organization: Lead and coach the team to achieve goals, deliver results, and stay within budget. Ensure effective collaboration within the department and establish clear communication and meeting structures.
• Information Landscape: Take responsibility for developing and maintaining a manageable information landscape.
• Advice and Initiatives: Advise management teams on initiatives and assess their impact on the information landscape.
• Product and Service Catalog: Co-develop and maintain a product and service catalog.
• Vendor Management: Optimize relationships with vendors to ensure reliable services and make proactive adjustments as needed.
• Budget Responsibility: Develop and manage the department's and IT’s budget.
• Process Design and Improvement: Continuously advise and support business domains, such as Finance, Integrated Supply Chain, and Sales & Service processes.
