  • Prepare, review and control monthly results;
  • Prepare and analyse monthly financial reporting package to management team within closing time table;
  • Analyse periodic voyage execution results in detail and in total;
  • Responsible that month close procedures (tasks are performed timely and accurately;
  • Involved with preparation of periodic IFRS 16 vessel lease contract calculation;
  • Analyse the mark to market valuations of cargoes and vessels;
  • Involved with preparation for and communication with external and internal audit;
  • Active participation in finance and accounting related improvement projects;
  • Ad-hoc financial analysis and calculations to support decision making in various areas;
  • Support business with financial challenges;
  • Follow up on various ad-hoc business requests and you take part in (IT) projects to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the accounting and reporting processes;

Who are we looking for?

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience required in a similar position
  • Experience as Financial and/or Business Controller is required
  • Knowledge of MS Office required
  • Knowledge of IFRS is required
  • Knowledge of SAP is required
  • Accurate (detail-oriented) and good analytical skills
  • Willingness to learn the business
  • Can work well with deadlines in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent written and verbal (English) communication skills
  • Being able to understand the importance of data driven decisions in daily work
