The Role

We are looking for a Seminar Leader for the Wella Studio London. The purpose of this role is to be a true expert in colour, care, and craft, ensuring inspirational and value-added studio education, focusing on advanced high-level programs and certifications across all brands to customers to maximize salon business & reach targets.

The seminar leader will lead by example on all studio fee-paying education and collaborate with studio educators, coaching and providing feedback on the delivery of all Wella studio courses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead & deliver high mastery programs within the global education framework.
  • Plan & execute education activities, online/offline, in digital, studios, colleges & external locations, Pop-Up or Training Centers.
  • Lead, plan and deliver MCE program following global MCE strategy and support and coach all educators in delivery.
  • Communicate online and offline with partner salons, freelancer, sales & education teams to set up education activities in-studio.
  • Plan, deliver and deploy pre and post education actions following the global guidance.
  • Evaluate and share feedback on the ongoing development of course optimization with the Studio Leader.
  • Plan and deliver studio education online and offline for GAIN salons when requested to support field education and sales team.
  • Ongoing assessment and deployment of the studio course materials and formats, feedback to Senior education Craft manager for amendments.
  • Support the studio education team to deliver BIC studio seminars, theory, workshops, and coaching via co-riding.
  • Maintain the facilities and 5-star experience for customer-facing activity to ensure the showroom appearance of the training location/Studio.
  • Bring studio education voice and technical support where needed to all sales and education meetings.
  • Use social media to drive awareness of Wella education and promote studio education to drive bookings.

KPIs

  • Studio income target FY25 +110% YAG.
  • Personal Course sales Target £30,000.
  • Personal Retail sales target £1200.
  • Social media target 1 IGTV, 8 IG Posts, 4 IG Stories per month.
  • Minimum 4 plus colour brands taught on all courses.
  • Studio team capability 1 full coaching form per studio educator per quarter.

Qualifications

Essential:
  • Hairdresser
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a qualified stylist.
  • Minimum of 2 years education experience.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in demonstrating and presenting colour, care, and craft.
Important:
  • Excellent use of Social Media for customers & team communication.
  • Completed all EdAc WCM Certification Silver.
  • Driving license.
  • Coaching or development of other team members.
Desirable:
  • Studio education experience.
  • Field Education Experience.
  • Completed EdAc WCM Gold Certification.
  • Completion of GAIN Academy.
