Your role in the story:

As a Specialist Installation Engineer at Heerema Marine Contractors (HMC), you play a critical role in the successful execution of complex offshore installation projects. Your expertise and leadership ensure that projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. You provide technical work preparation services in product development, study, tender, and commercial projects on products such as removal, heavy lift, subsea, and renewables. Your ability to manage and coordinate these multifaceted tasks places you at the forefront of engineering excellence, driving the success of offshore projects and making a significant impact in the industry. Additionally, you will have autonomy, scope ownership, and the opportunity to tackle technical subprojects, enhancing your role and contributions further.

What you will be working on:

  • Develop offshore execution methods for offshore projects, selection of required equipment, concept and detail design of lifting arrangements etc.;
  • Perform engineering, technical project preparation and execution support of offshore projects, i.e. heavy lift installation projects;
  • Review and organize review of internal and external deliverables (drawings, reports and procedures);
  • Prepare and coordinate subcontractor Scope of Works.

Key ingredients for success:

  • A Bachelor and/or Master degree Civil Engineering, Maritime or Mechanical Engineering
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in engineering, project preparation and execution of offshore projects
