Key Activities and Responsibilities

  • Proactively provide period end reports and analysis.
  • Manage capital and project expenditures/cost control.
  • Partner with businesses by contributing to the management team.
  • Build strong relationships and network with key stakeholders.
  • Continuously monitor performance and provide proactive ad-hoc analysis of current issues.
  • Provide recommendations & drive decision making.
  • Develop financial perspective on operational issues.
  • Support key business decisions with fact-based analysis and simulation.
  • Drive performance management - structured way of identifying improvement potential, agree upon activities and follow-up result. Strategic Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting.
  • Business planning activities with different time horizons, including contingency planning scenarios.
  • Contribute to the networks in Business Control by sharing knowledge & good practices and support competence development.

Profile

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business Administration preferred, with 2 to 3 years of Business Controlling experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • An excellent understanding of financial processes, reporting, and accounting, and a high level of computer proficiency, especially in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Highly organized, strongly analytical, and have a keen attention to detail and ability to question the facts.
  • Working with continuous improvements is a natural part of your character and you feel comfortable searching for information, identifying small and large solutions, and challenging the norm.
  • As the Business Controller, you are an important part of the organization, and have excellent presentations and communications (verbal and written) skills.
  • Well-developed ability to deliver results under pressure and balance multiple priorities with ease.
  • You are flexible, react well to change, and remain calm in the face of challenges.
  • You are active and future oriented.
  • Fluency in English (verbal and written) is required for this role.
