Network Data Engineer

As a Network Data Engineer at VodafoneZiggo you fulfill a crucial role in customer projects with regard to building and optimally configuring our products and services for our B2B customers. L2+L3 Access&services, Internet, IPVPN, Firewalls and Voice hold no secrets for you.

You will work in an enthusiastic team of 15 Network Data Engineers who are a nice mix of age and experience. Specialists who enjoy working together and are always there for each other. • as a Network Data Engineer you take care of the technical implementation of B2B customer projects in close cooperation with the Project Manager and the customer.
• create configurations of equipment (CPE / PE routers & switches) but also of Access and Firewalls.
• perform (remote) upgrades and customer migrations
• assist (remote) Field Service that performs the installation at the customer
• make sure that adjustments to networks are quickly and properly incorporated into standard processes and work instructions
• follow closely the new developments within our field and make sure that your technical knowledge is always up-to-date
• you make sure that all operational daily unexpected situations come to a good end
• good work-life balance by working three days at home, and two days at the office (Helmond)
• the working area is mainly the Netherlands and the working language with the customer is Dutch

• hbo level (ICT, Engineering)
• CCNA / CCNP / Fortinet certified
• knowledge of L2 and L3 networks, MPLS, Cisco (Meraki)/OneAccess routers and switches, SDWAN, Fortinet
• knowledge of internet, IPVPN, voice services
• strong in analytical thinking and troubleshooting
• flexibility to work even outside office hours
• excellent communication skills, both in Dutch and English
