Benelux Marketing Manager: The Marketing Manager is responsible for strategic alignment of local marketing plans and high-quality executions. This role requires a high-level understanding in marketing budget management and benchmarking of KPIs and ROI concept. In this role, you will be a key person to finalize the local marketing strategy and calendarization as well as budget control in close collaboration with internal finance and external distribution partners. The role involves both national and regional (store level) marketing management.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Building aligned annual marketing plans with local partners, identifying budget requirements, and leading relevant approval processes internally.
  • Identifying and coordinating website improvements between BYD Europe marketing and local partner marketing teams.
  • Following website analytics and recommending action points.
  • Close follow-up on SEO, online marketing KPIs.
  • Following each marketing activity within the ROI perspective to identify good practices.
  • Challenging local partners in the use of marketing budget in terms of efficiency and quality.
  • Taking PR role in front line during occasional key events.
  • Ensuring store level marketing plans and relevant follow-ups in details of investments, funnel results/impacts.
  • Managing all marketing relevant claim processes from local partners.
  • Leading a team of specialists.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • At least 10 years marketing and PR experience of which min. 3 years managerial level.
  • Good network with marketing and PR agencies in Benelux.
  • Strong in budgeting and follow-up.
  • Experienced in Power BI and advanced in self-service reporting.
  • Good teacher and coaching skills for younger team members.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • English and Dutch are a must, French and Chinese is a plus.

It is also in partnership with Alexander Dennis in the UK which assembles jointly developed buses for the UK market.
