Head of Technical Account Management

As the Head of Technical Account Management, you will lead and manage a team of platform consultants within a dynamic, fast-paced retail media environment. Your primary mission is to ensure successful platform configurations, seamless integrations, and high customer satisfaction across various brands within the Ahold Delhaize organization.

Your New Work Environment

In this role, you will join our innovative Gambit team, Ahold’s in-house adtech platform, which combines licensed and proprietary monetization solutions to help KAD labels elevate their (retail) media strategies. You will work closely with product, tech, and account management teams to deliver value to our clients through effective platform consultancy.

As a key leader within this global team, you will build strong relationships with stakeholders across various regions and ensure the long-term success of platform integrations. You will be given the freedom and responsibility to take ownership of your work and broaden your horizons by working together with knowledgeable colleagues from different countries who have an abundance of expertise in many areas. Key Responsibilities of Your Role

Your role is highly diverse and encompasses various responsibilities. Here are the key ones:

  • Lead the implementation of Gambit modules in collaboration with local development teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timely delivery, and adherence to quality standards for seamless platform configurations.
  • Build and manage a globally distributed, high-performing consultancy team, fostering a collaborative work environment, driving operational excellence, and ensuring consistent, high-quality support for stakeholders across multiple regions.
  • Oversee comprehensive training programs and provide strategic advice to ad operations specialists across 16 brands, focusing on optimizing campaign performance, enhancing ad efficiency, and delivering measurable results.
  • Continuously improve platform support processes, identifying areas for operational efficiency and creating detailed, user-friendly training materials and documentation to standardize procedures and ensure smooth platform operations.
  • Ensure seamless integration of third-party platforms into Gambit, managing post go-live hypercare, troubleshooting issues, and driving continuous improvement for flawless ad inventory management.
  • Recruit, develop, and implement personal growth plans for platform consultants, providing mentorship, performance evaluations, and professional development opportunities to foster team growth and career progression.

Requirements

We think you’ll be best geared for success if you meet the following requirements:

  • Master's degree or Bachelor's level of working and thinking skills
  • 8+ years of experience in ad-tech platform operations, with at least 6 in configuration and integration
  • Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • Deep understanding of the ad-tech ecosystem
  • Experience in managing complex, multi-brand, multi-solution environments
  • Strong communication skills and a strategic mindset
  • Fluent in English
  • Proven experience working with large publishers, ad networks, ad servers, or SSPs (Supply-Side Platforms)
  • Knowledge of Javascript and HTML
