Internship - Process & Control Improvement

Your Job

The individual that will best suit the role will be able to work collaboratively as part of a team and proactively on deliverables. The key areas of support are to:

  • Provide operational and administrative support in activities such as the preparation of agenda items, keeping minutes, communication, presentations and analysing and consolidating data either for the risk management team or for a programme/project.
  • Actively think and support to improve the Ways of Working within the team.
  • Support with keeping our risk management intranet up to date.
  • Support the regular maintenance of materials on SharePoint and/or ServiceNow.
  • Support on the different compliance processes.

Beside the core activities, you will be involved in a variety of other activities where you can proactively support and learn from.

Your Working Environment

The Global P&CI team consists of around 80 professionals located in Amsterdam, Poland, Nigeria, Singapore, Mexico and Brazil, and consists of different sub-teams, each with their own expertise. The environment is high paced, dynamic and activities will be varied. We are looking for an intern to work on several different topics.

About the risk management team: Our purpose is to support the achievement of HEINEKEN’s objectives, by facilitating the identification and assessment of key risks globally. We provide a consolidated and consistent picture of HEINEKEN’s risk priorities. Our ambition is to enable everyone within HEINEKEN to make decisions with a risk conscious mindset and mitigating key risks through fit for purpose processes.

Your Profile

For this role, we are looking for someone who takes initiative and can easily adapt to a fast pace and changing environment. Someone studying business/finance is preferred and fluency in English both written and spoken is required.

Additionally, the ideal candidate is:

  • Dynamic and eager to work on a variety of topics
  • Curious, pro-active, and entrepreneurial
  • Computer proficiency: Microsoft Office
  • Able to draft high quality communications (emails, MS Word and MS PowerPoint)
  • Collaborative and team player
  • High concern for quality, accuracy, and data
  • Socially involved with the team
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken

Requirements

  • Starting date: Feb 1st, 2025
  • The intern must be enrolled at a university or college for the entire duration of the internship, preferably 6 months.
  • In case of a non-European nationality, it is mandatory that the intern is enrolled at a Dutch university or college and therefore has a legitimate work permit with student status, which will not expire during the duration of the internship.
  • Living in the Netherlands during the internship.
