Companies are increasingly confronted with increasingly complex tax laws and regulations, governments that demand full transparency and various stakeholders are increasingly interested in the company's strategic tax choices. Do you want to make the difference with regard to these major challenges for our customers? Are you also curious about the use of new technological possibilities and are you a team player? Then this is your vacancy!

What will you be doing?

As a Tax Accounting & Tax Compliance Consultancy consultant, you advise and support companies in meeting their tax compliance and reporting obligations at national and international level. You do this by, among other things, setting up the internal financial and tax processes and identifying and implementing new technological solutions for the customer. With this you help companies to enable them to have their tax compliance and tax accounting in order.

You start in a broad role ('traineeship') and you will work in an informal multidisciplinary team of accountants, tax specialists and data and technology specialists. This is an energetic and motivated group of people with great growth ambitions. Ultimately, you will grow within the team to the expertise in which you feel most at home.

These are your main responsibilities:

  • You advise and support companies with regard to the optimization (automation) of tax and financial processes.
  • In the first years of your career you are involved in the preparation of (complex) tax returns and the preparation/checking of the tax position in the annual accounts (Dutch Gaap / IFRS / US GAAP).
  • You advise and support clients on tax accounting issues.
  • Using data extraction and software solutions, you help customers make optimal use of their financial and tax data to meet their compliance and reporting obligations as quickly as possible (for example: corporate income tax return, Country-by-Country reporting).

  • You have completed a university education in Tax Law, Tax Economics, Tax & Technology or another relevant university degree in (Business) Economics, Accountancy, (Technical) Business Administration, Econometrics, Mathematics, provided you have an affinity with the professional field;
  • You have an excellent command of the Dutch or English language;
