Role Overview

As a Delivery Manager, you will be accountable for the operational management and improvement of the UK Procurement and Property systems, including the core and vendor-managed platforms across the BG & UK Market Unit, servicing 31,000 employees. This team and solution are considered pivotal in terms of creating a simple, standard, integrated, and digital experience for our people. It is also a critical component and enabler in the future vision of our employee experience and service delivery model.

How You'll Help Us Make Health Happen

  • Lead the Procurement and Property Technology Delivery team by coaching, mentoring, and recruiting an effective team.
  • Act as the link between key business stakeholders and the Operations team.
  • Responsible for scoping, planning, and delivering the ongoing operational and strategically important improvement activities the team is accountable for.
  • Plan and manage AOP for the supported applications and teams ensuring the effective management of cost across BAU and change activities.
  • Own the process of taking an idea from conception to technical delivery, adhering to internal processes and audit requirements.
  • Design, and ensure adherence to, release and deployment processes.
  • Coordinate release management across multiple business and market units and systems.
  • Act as Experience Owner for multiple key processes within the employee lifecycle.
  • Deliver a Digital Experience strategy through the PPP Strategy Initiatives which is market-leading in all aspects.
  • Work effectively with a broad range of stakeholders, including director and executive level.

Key Skills/Qualifications Needed for This Role

  • A relevant university-level qualification, postgraduate qualifications, or extensive professional experience in organizational change management.
  • Comprehensive experience in operational management and delivery and a continuous improvement culture to the day-to-day delivery of key items.
  • Experience leading large-scale organization-wide change programs, particularly in managing change impacts on people, through a tiered change and engagement delivery model.
  • Designed and delivered project change and engagement services in a complex change portfolio environment, using multiple delivery models like Human-Centered Design, Lean, Agile, and Waterfall.
  • Experience and comfort in negotiating and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in planning and implementing benefits optimization and innovation.
  • Experience delivering large programs of work including judgment in balancing competing organizational priorities.
  • Strong experience in the development & delivery of management information; from sourcing, manipulating, presenting & analyzing data.
