The Area Engineering Journey makes all the difference for the Engineer. The tools and services Engineers use must be easy to find, reusable, and compliant by design allowing them to focus on creating the right solutions. We are actively setting up a Service Store that makes it easy to find, use, and reuse Rabobank-wide IT Services. We are working on a Radar for direct insight into those Services and focus on the communities for the right input and feedback. To do this, we will connect to a broad and complex landscape where the connections between systems, teams and people are essential.

With you

As a Scrum Master within area, you will be part of a diverse and involved team that takes ownership to deliver the best possible solutions for our users, the engineers of the bank. You bring your wide experience and knowledge to the team and contribute to increase the maturity of the team. You will be the Scrum Master for a number of teams and together with the other Scrum Masters will help to improve the maturity from the area in general.

You are a proactive team player with a strong yet flexible mentality to get things done. You demonstrate the ability to persuade and inspire others while also being an attentive listener and building connections. Additionally, you lead by example while maintaining an independent stance. You are enthusiastic, empathetic, open-minded and bring energy to your work. You support squads by educating them and helping them continuously improve their development process. You are self-aware; you know your unique qualities and use them as effectively as possible.

Required knowledge and experience:

• You are an experienced Scrum Master, with at least 5 years of proven experience;

• You have experience in (team) coaching and guiding high-performance multicultural squads;

• You have experience effectively intervening in both individual and group settings to elevate teams to a higher maturity level;

• You are a hands-on servant leader for squads and you focus on the scrum values of commitment, courage, focus, openness and respect;

• You are familiar with common Agile practices, service-oriented environments, and solid development practices;

• You have excellent communication and mentoring skills.

A salary between €4,292 and €6,131 gross per month means up to €100,000 per year, including all benefits, based on knowledge and experience for a 40-hour work week (scale 9).
