Purpose of Role

We are looking for a Visual Merchandiser to manage the product presentation of our Brand Houses (Owned & Operated and partnered).

This role will lead the “Go to Market” process from a visual merchandising point of view, ensure a premium execution at retail and deliver the highest return on investment. Partner with the merchandising, marketing, and sales teams to deliver the vision of the “End in Mind” and ensure the Brand stories are coming to life in an impactful manner whilst being commercially successful.

The role will also support Store Design and Development on the store opening process.

Your Impact

  • Manage the VM process across Brand Houses from early concept to “Retail Theatre”.
  • Work closely with the Merchandising, Marketing and Commerce teams to deliver the best product assortment that fits the perfect vision of the “End in Mind” (Business right, Brand right).
  • Lead the development of EMEA Seasonal Directives.
  • Ensure in-season standards and KPI’s are at the highest level. Maintain the relationship with country teams/Partners.
  • Be the voice of VM in the space design and refits process: Collaborate with store designers and project managers on the design, zoning of any new space or refit. Ensure the consumer journey works in terms of capacity, storytelling and flow.
  • Balance “Brand” and “Commercial” moments.
  • Lead seasonal kick-off strategy. Lead floor set launch. Collaborate with country VMs while they plan the season. Support the training of the store team to ensure standards will be met.
  • Lead monthly reviews of KPIs and photo reporting per spaces and ensure UA functions are set to follow up on actions.
  • Training: Plan and lead, with EMEA VM Training Lead, training curriculums for Accounts. Facilitate in-person training. Evaluate store execution to define future training needs.
  • Manage and develop 1 direct report.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in art or fashion.
  • 8+ years of field Visual Merchandising / Styling in a Premium Fashion Brand/ International Brand / Sport Brand.
  • Fluent in English. Can comfortably navigate across cultures and in a complex matrix.
  • Presentation skills (PowerPoint, Keynote).
  • The candidate must demonstrate a high capacity to adapt to changes, dealing with ambiguity, be an extraordinary team player, be a sponge when it comes to trends or industry evolution.
