This is a 6-month Full-Time Internship at adidas, providing you with a unique opportunity to apply what you’ve learned at university, use your knowledge in practice, and live your passion for sports in our Hong Kong Headquarters for Global Sourcing business.

About the Global Logistics Team

Our Global Logistics team is responsible for creating end-to-end visibility and reporting, driving data quality improvements with our service providers, managing end-2-end inbound logistics processes, project management, and continuous improvement for the adidas global logistics network, with a broad and diverse range of stakeholders.

Key Objectives & Opportunity

  1. Gain insights into the entire logistics process and improve data quality and reporting.
  2. Enhance skills in data analysis, project administration, and using tools like Power BI to build new concepts to improve the current global logistics setup.
  3. Work with diverse stakeholders, experiencing different cultures and operational practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Global logistics operation project initiatives which include data analysis and project administration.
  • Co-operate with internal and external stakeholders to run a new concept of the logistics project, e.g. Logistics Service Provider (LSP), local market inbound team, and local operation team to experience different cultures.
  • Track and trace the project status and support data simulation.
  • Support the Power BI dashboard/system and data maintenance.
  • Prepare PowerPoint documentation related to this new project.
  • Support Standard Operation Procedure (SOP) update regarding this project.

Key Working Relationships

Global Logistics Team in different regions, as well as Sourcing, Finance, Controlling, Performance Management, and Global Logistics Service Provider & Carrier.

Requirements

  • Student in progress of undergraduate or master's degree program, preferably major in Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
  • Strong analytics skills, capable of working with massive data.
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experienced in Power BI is an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative mindset to work in partnership across functions and locations.
  • Fluency in verbal and written communication in English; Mandarin and Cantonese or other languages is a plus.
  • Readiness to start the Full-Time Internship in Jan 2025 with a 6-month duration.
