Join Our Team as an Invoice Finance Business Development Manager

We invite you to join us in delivering innovative working capital solutions, with a particular emphasis on invoice financing, to mid-corporate clients across the South Coast, South West, and South Wales regions.

Key Responsibilities

The role includes:

  • Driving and managing customer relationships, offering strategic working capital optimization insights at the board level.
  • Collaborating with colleagues across Trade and Working Capital and Global Transaction Banking to provide tailored solutions.
  • Developing relationships with business introducers, brokers, and industry experts to inform them of our offerings and market developments.
  • Working closely with Product and Operations teams to align products and processes with growth objectives.
  • Acting as the first line of defence in managing credit, market, and operational risks.

Assessment criteria include critical skills relevant to the role such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.

Purpose of the Role

To generate revenue and promote the bank's diverse Trade & Working Capital product and service offerings to various customer segments.

Accountabilities

  • Identifying potential customers and analyzing their needs and preferences.
  • Creating detailed profiles for target customer segments to tailor sales approaches.
  • Managing relationships with existing and potential customers through high-quality support.
  • Understanding features, benefits, risks, and compliance requirements of various products.
  • Developing compelling sales pitches and negotiating beneficial terms.
  • Collecting and analyzing customer feedback to support strategic product development.
  • Monitoring sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
