Sustainability Risk Internship

Join ABN AMRO’s Sustainability Risk team and contribute to the bank's sustainability strategy by supporting corporate clients in their transition toward sustainable practices. Gain hands-on experience in assessing and mitigating sustainability risks across various sectors, including agriculture and shipping.

Your job

As a Sustainability Risk Intern, you will:

• Assess corporate clients' sustainability performance
• Participate in and contribute to team meetings
• Collaborate with and challenge commercial colleagues
• Contribute to development of vision papers on emerging sustainability topics
• Compile summaries of webinars and sustainability reports
• Assist with administrative tasks

Your working environment

• Our team assesses business client compliance with the bank’s sustainability risk policy and helps accelerate their sustainability shift
• The team atmosphere is collaborative, fast-paced, diplomatic, and constructively critical
• The team consists of seven core analysts and a manager, and we encourage interns to actively participate and take initiative

Your profile

• Pursuing a degree in Sustainability, Environmental Studies, or a related field at a university.
• Enrolled at a Dutch university for the entire duration of the internship
• Available for a minimum of 6 months
• Proficient in English and Dutch
• Possess strong analytical skills, concise business writing, diplomatic communication style, and the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
