🥜 In a nutshell

As Commercial Team Lead - Promo, you will be end-to-end responsible for Picnic's promo offering. Together with your team - consisting of five promo coordinators - you are making continuous trade-offs between offering customers the most relevant and attractive promotions. Your goal is to improve the overall commercial performance of Picnic.

Would you like to lead the execution of major promotional campaigns such as Europarade and Super Bundel Bonus Week and create new promo campaigns along the way? Don’t miss out!

🎯 What you’ll do

  • Develop a deep understanding of promotions through a combination of Picnic data, customer insights, and supplier input
  • Identify commercial opportunities and track promising promotional campaigns from competitors
  • Manage the full promotion budget and oversee main promo KPIs to enhance promotion-driven metrics
  • Master the end-to-end promotion process, spotting ways to improve customer offerings, enhance collaboration, and increase profitability
  • Evaluate your campaigns, identify areas for improvement, strengthen and develop our promotional brands
  • Lead a team of dedicated promo coordinators, fostering personal growth.
  • Ensure the smooth execution of weekly discount offers, while addressing operational challenges as they arise
  • Set the commercial strategy and create a practical plan to drive promotional improvements and achieve targets

⭐ About you

  • Master’s degree, with a strong focus on analytical problem-solving
  • 4-7 years of experience in a commercial and analytical environment such as retail, e-commerce or FMCG
  • A commercial mindset, with a keen eye for opportunities, and confidence in decision-making
  • Persistence and enthusiasm to see projects through to successful completion
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in people management with the ability to lift spirits
  • A proactive approach to handling daily operations
  • A genuine passion for food, consumer products and tech
  • Fluent in Dutch and English
