Logistics Specialist

This role ensures business continuity in logistics by monitoring, maintaining, and controlling various administrative aspects. Primary responsibilities include SAP order-to-cash (O2C) for inbound management, stock control, order fulfillment, material master data, reverse logistics, invoicing, and process control, with EDI knowledge. You will oversee Track & Trace compliance, problem-solving, and reporting, and manage warehouse inventory and SAP-WMS alignment. Additional duties include product setup in TME/Siebel, serving as backup for order fulfillment and credit notes, and contributing to logistics projects for continuous improvement.

Position:
  • Inventory Management: Responsible for ensuring SAP and WMS inventory alignment through weekly stock checks, resolving discrepancies with stakeholders, and managing stock transfers. Monitors returns, tracks sellable vs. obsolete stock, and leads the annual stock count process.
  • Inbound Management: Coordinate inbound shipment information, ensuring alignment with internal and external stakeholders. Process or delegate goods receipts within one business day of warehouse confirmation. Ensure compliance with Customs regulations, manage EMCS movements, and support system upgrades with Customs and IT teams.
  • Material Master Data: Ensure portfolio material data accuracy, timely publishing in GS1 Data Source, and reporting to stakeholders. Manage annual packaging environmental fee calculations and ensure master data alignment across systems and departments.
  • Track & Trace Compliancy: Ensure operational track & trace compliance and support process improvements in departmental and warehouse flows. Perform daily follow-ups for 100% compliance. Attend Global Compliance meetings for updates and collaborate with teams across the Benelux cluster to share best practices.
  • Continuous Improvement: Committed to driving process improvements and digitalization by developing and implementing new tools in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. This involves integrating the latest technologies with support from local and global teams.

Within 6 months you will:

  • Adapt to a new workplace culture and team dynamics.
  • Familiarize yourself with the company’s logistics software.

Requirements:

  • Higher Professional Education (HBO Bachelor).
  • Work experience in logistics with strong IT literacy (preferably 3 years or more).
  • Fluent Dutch & English.
  • PC literacy: MS Excel, Word, Outlook. SAP.
  • Strong stakeholder management.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational skills.
