Job Description

Main Purpose of Job

Material Planner will be responsible for replenishment planning and inventory balancing planning. Focus on optimizing inventory across value chain.

Build client’s trust and manage client’s expectation.

Key Deliverables

Maintain Master Data and Systems. Collate Information and Assumptions for supply levers.

Review previous month’s performance, surplus & slow-moving inventory and future projections.

Participate in planning meeting to review open firm demand, inventory segmentation and plan mitigation actions.

Identify inventory redeployment opportunities.

Review PRs outside of supply plan, open POs, Materials in transit >90 days overdue.

Monitor movements, manage exceptions, ensure safety norms are followed during storage and handling.

Follow established health safety and environmental processes and work methods.

Key functional & business competencies

Material planning / Supply planning domain experience, Proficiency level: High

Inventory balancing, Proficiency level: High

Risk Mitigation, Stakeholder Management, Proficiency level: Medium

Eye for Detail, Problem Solving Aptitude, Communication Skills, Proficiency level: High

Qualifications

What you need:

Graduate with 3-5 years of experience

"Must Have" Work Experience:

1. Knowledge of the breadth of SCM business and capabilities.

2. Detailed knowledge of material planning and supply planning

3. Strong communication skills to include an ability to tailor style to different audiences.

4. Hands-on experience in MS-Office

"Good to have" Work Experience:

1. Understanding inventory planning systems in SAP

2. Exposure to use PowerBI or similar BI tool
