As a Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining the infrastructure and tools that enable our data-driven decision-making. You will work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure data is accessible, reliable, and efficiently processed. Your expertise will help us scale our data operations and support the growing needs of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Pipeline Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines to ingest, process, and store large volumes of data from various sources.
• Data Integration: Integrate data from multiple sources, ensuring data consistency, quality, and reliability.
• Database Management: Manage and optimize databases and data warehouses, ensuring high performance and availability.
• ETL Processes: Develop and maintain ETL processes to transform and load data into data warehouses and data lakes.
• AWS and Serverless Technologies: Utilize AWS services such as Lambda, Glue, Athena, Kinesis, Step Functions for orchestration, and APIs to build and manage serverless data processing solutions.
• Data Quality and Governance: Implement data quality checks and governance processes to ensure data integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver solutions that meet business requirements.
• Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize data processing performance to ensure efficient use of resources.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases.
• Experience with ETL tools and processes.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python.
• Experience with AWS services, including Lambda, Step Functions, and API Gateway.
• Familiarity with data warehousing and data lake concepts.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of data modeling and data architecture principles.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Experience with SnowFlake
• Experience with C#
