Junior Supply Chain Specialist

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to

  • Managing inventory to support our company growth and stay in control.
  • Analyzing, evaluating and deciding on transportation expenses to maintain control, stay cost efficient and drive cost reductions.
  • Organizing and coordinating the multimodal transportation setup between our warehouse and production locations.
  • Optimizing internal logistics processes, including the order picking process and the warehouse layout.
  • Being the main point of contact for our logistics partners.
  • Proposing and implementing improvements to keep optimizing our supply chain.

Your qualifications

  • A University degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Also, candidates with a degree in Econometrics or a related field are invited to apply.
  • Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, extensive use of formulas, modeling, dashboard building).
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Fluency in Dutch is not required but is a plus.
  • Proactive, collaborative, independent and results-oriented mindset.
  • An eye for detail, ability to keep learning and a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Experience with an ERP system is a plus.
  • Knowledge of customs matters is a plus.
  • Interest in working with data and systems to analyze effectively, including but not limited to
  • Shipping company tooling
  • E-commerce platform software
  • Accounting software
