Are you ready to take your expertise in Microsoft technologies to the next level? Allseas is seeking a passionate Microsoft Platform Engineer with a knack for SharePoint, Power Apps and PowerShell to join our dynamic team. As a Platform Engineer you will be responsible for developing, customizing and maintaining solutions that meet the evolving needs of our organization.

Your role

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, design scalable solutions, and implement best practices for effective utilization of Microsoft technologies.

You will run strategic initiatives and build strong relationships with the other IT teams and business stakeholders. Strategic projects include, but is not limited to: SharePoint migration to online, redesigning the Allseas SQL environment, implementing the Power Platform, launching Kubernetes, explore Copilot and other AI related tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement custom solutions utilizing SharePoint, Power Apps, PowerShell, Co-pilot and other Microsoft tooling to address business requirements.
  • Customize SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, workflows, and forms to optimize functionality and user experience.
  • Develop Power Apps applications to automate processes, streamline workflows, and enhance productivity.
  • Utilize PowerShell scripting for automation, administration, and configuration tasks within the Microsoft ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, identify opportunities for improvement, and provide technical guidance on platform capabilities.
  • Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of solutions to ensure reliability, performance, and security.

Besides the above mentioned you will provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing sites, applications, scripts and other Microsoft-based solutions. You stay on top of the latest developments and proactively recommend innovative solutions to enhance our technical ecosystem.

What we expect from you

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Experience developing solutions on the Microsoft SharePoint platform, including SharePoint Online and SharePoint Server.
  • Hands-on experience building canvas and model-driven Power Apps applications, as well as integrating Power Apps with other Microsoft 365 services.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and administration tasks within the Microsoft ecosystem.
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate (Flow) and Power BI.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure services, such as Azure Functions and Azure Logic Apps, is desirable.

You have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Due to your strong communication skills you are able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and you enjoy delivering high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
