Transformative Solutions with Wipro’s Strategic Solution Center

Wipro’s Strategic Solution Center team, along with their colleagues in the solution architecture community, will transform the way we provide solutions for our clients. This transformation aims to create market-leading, integrated, competitive solutions that differentiate Wipro while also improving the seller experience.

This team is responsible for:

  • Building solutions for integrated, multi-service line pursuits. This includes aligning our Lead Architects under one team and working closely with solution architects in the practices.
  • Transforming the solutioning process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. This includes the use of Generative AI to improve quality and efficiency, while sharing best practices across Wipro.
  • Working closely with solution architects, practices, delivery organizations, and design authority community to ensure smooth delivery and transition post-deal booking.
  • Leveraging research, data, collateral, and account-based marketing to inform our solution strategy, creating delightful buyer experiences.

Role Overview

As a large pursuit solution leader at Wipro, you will drive solution blueprinting, detailing, estimating, and conducting workshops for large pursuits spanning cross-domain technologies. You will foster a collaborative culture and uphold Wipro's core values. Collaborating with the Europe leadership team to qualify deals and develop winning strategies and solution themes is a part of this role.

As the Solution Architect Lead, you will engage in sales and pre-sales phases of opportunity pursuit through targeted presentations, solution workshops, and responses. Engaging with solution architects across technology streams to develop integrated solutions and commercial propositions is critical to success in this leadership position.

In this role, you will conduct workshops with client and solution teams to co-create and refine solution tenants. You are responsible for final defence and presentation of the deal. You are expected to develop industry Point of Views (POVs) and frameworks to improve positioning and replicate solution approaches. The Solution Architect Lead will also engage in delivery handover during the inception phase to deliver strategy and solution approach, while guiding the project transition to the execution team.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Participate in pursuit requirement analysis and gathering workshops, ensuring program objectives and business outcomes are transformed into solution imperatives.
  • Responsible for solution storyline, central winning themes, and framework of the solution including architecture, technical capabilities, and commercial construct.
  • Work with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) of specialized areas to integrate solutions in response to client RFPs, RFIs, and proactive pursuits.
  • Responsible for estimate validation and driving response content completeness.
  • Formulate best practices and design guidelines for the team.
  • Resolve complex design and configuration problems to meet specified objectives.
  • Ensure that developed systems meet performance considerations outlined in High Level Design.
  • Prepare High Level Designs and collate non-functional requirements.
  • Guide the team and mentor them as required.

Who we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s in computer engineering or equivalent
  • Overall 20+ years of IT experience with over 3+ years of leading large pursuit solutions.
  • Experience in total outsourcing deals, operating model transformation, digital/cloud/data transformation
  • Certified Architect in at minimum one discipline.
  • Certification, Knowledge, and expertise on Digital & Cloud technologies, or Enterprise technologies like ERP, CRM, middle-office, and back-office applications.
  • Well-versed in DevSecOps, Agile methodologies, and value stream engineering.
  • At least 3+ years in pre-sales roles for large deals over 70Mn size.
  • Experience in managing multiple client accounts, conversations, solutions, and sales activities is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills required. Executive presence with the ability to articulate a compelling value proposition and complex technical matters in simple terms is essential.
