What You Will Be Doing

As a Graduate Commercial Officer, you will provide commercial support and contract management to a project within our Warships Team. This role provides a great foundation for commercial management. Learning about contract terms, change management, and negotiation provides an insight into general business management.

The role offers opportunities to engage across the organisation and exposure to the breadth of the Warship Support business, and the MoD and Royal Navy. This will involve interacting with a range of different people within the Warship Support business and gaining exposure to dealing with customers directly.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Customer and Stakeholder Management
  • Bid preparation and contract management
  • Support to the Lifecycle Management (LCM) process including compilation, substantiation and presentation of bid at the Request for Bid Approval (RBA) Review
  • Act as the Commercial point of contact for a range of internal and external stakeholders, including the MOD
  • Get involved in continuous improvement ideas

Skills

As a minimum requirement you’ll need to have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, a 2.2 in your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in either Business, Marketing, Accounting, Maths, Commercial, or PM.
