What You Will Be Doing

During your 12-month undergraduate placement, you will gain a broad understanding of the software function by creating cutting-edge software for our hardware and participating in the entire lifecycle of a product. You will work closely with both Electronic and Systems engineers, developing complex real-world systems that must perform flawlessly, as the consequences of failure could be catastrophic.

We also offer the opportunity to engage in projects outside of your primary role. You are encouraged to seek a stretch project to gain diverse experiences. With our extensive portfolio and multinational presence, opportunities to engage in different projects abound. Additionally, we promote involvement in community projects, STEM initiatives, and support groups (employee resource groups) for valuable learning experiences beyond your daily responsibilities.

Specific Activities

You will be assigned to a project, contributing to addressing engineering issues within a program. Responsibilities might include requirements evaluation, problem solving, presenting engineering deliverables, preparing reports and presentations, and conducting cost, schedule, and risk analysis.

Skills and Requirements

Minimum Requirement: A 2.2 or above in your Bachelor's in Computing, Computer Science, IT Networks, Maths, or Physics; You must be returning to University to complete your degree.
