As an Undergraduate in Supply Chain, you'll take on a variety of roles to ensure that we deliver the right products, at the right time, and at the right cost, maintaining required quality. Your role will vary from supplier visits to developing procurement strategies.
The Supply Chain team is vital to one of the world’s most exciting defence companies. We provide world-class sourcing, contract, and supplier management to deliver increased product quality, reduced total cost of ownership, and enhanced operating efficiencies without compromising quality, safety, health, or the environment.
As a minimum requirement, you’ll need to be on track to obtain a 2.2 in your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Procurement, General Engineering, Manufacturing, Project Management, Economics, Finance and Accounting, Supply Chain, Society Politics and policy, or Business Management.
To be considered for this role, you must be returning to university to complete your degree.
We encourage employees to explore projects beyond their primary responsibilities, offering diverse experiences. With a wide range of products and a multinational presence, there are ample opportunities for engagement in various projects and initiatives.
BAE Systems values community engagement. Employees are encouraged to participate in community projects, STEM initiatives, and employee resource groups, offering valuable learning experiences outside of their regular roles.
Recognising the importance of retaining talented individuals, we offer sponsorship, career development support, and high-potential development programs. These initiatives help employees plan their careers effectively, providing opportunities for accelerated development for those with aspiration, ability, and performance.
You’ll receive benefits including a competitive pension scheme, enhanced annual leave allowance, and a company-contributed Share Incentive Plan. Additional benefits include flexible working, an employee assistance programme, Cycle2work, and employee discounts. You may also be eligible for an annual incentive.
We aim to ensure our recruitment processes are as inclusive as possible. If you have a disability or health condition (such as dyslexia, autism, or an anxiety disorder) that may affect your performance in certain assessment types, please speak to your recruiter about potential reasonable adjustments.
As a future-focused business, we’re committed to bettering the world. Our target is to achieve net zero emissions by 2030. We’re innovating new ways to develop on-site renewable electricity and setting ambitious targets for water consumption and waste generation.
