Job Description: Quality Assurance Specialist

**NIBC** is looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist to join the QA team. In this role, you will work with your IT and non-IT colleagues towards achieving the required quality of our IT products and services. The QA team continually develops and implements best practices to maintain the best quality in the software delivery process. As a QA Specialist, you set an example for everyone regarding quality and accountability.

What Will You Do?

- Help set up test plans, coordinate tests, review test reports, and provide release advice based on results. - Support NIBC’s delivery teams in following our quality processes. - Develop, design, and deliver targeted quality and test training to IT teams and business professionals. - Be heavily involved in maturing NIBC’s quality and test tooling, including test management, test data management, and test automation tools. - Advise and support teams in implementing the new test automation plans at NIBC. - Plan and manage the Quality Management team’s backlog. - Help maintain and update the Quality Management team's documentation and templates to remain compliant with changing regulatory requirements.

Your Team

You will join the Quality Assurance team within the IRSQ (Identity & access management, Risk & Security, and Quality management) domain. We divide the various tasks within this team, but we also aim for the ability to cover for each other when necessary. What Do You Bring?

Our newest colleague is quality-minded, technically oriented, and has a versatile attitude to bring our Quality Assurance maturity to the next level. With your curiosity, you dive into various aspects of IT, in general, and specifically in quality. You are comfortable in a coordinating role for testing in strategic projects and are willing to operate as a “Scrum master light” for the Quality expertise team. To be successful in this role, we believe you will need: - 3-5 years experience in either IT quality or testing. - Knowledge of JIRA and Cloud (Azure). - Experience with test management tooling (such as Azure Test Plan). - Experience in SCRUM / Agile / DevOps. - Strong communication skills in English. - Affinity or experience with Power BI, Test Automation, and Test Data Management. - Any programming experience is desirable. - Experience in the financial sector is desirable.
