Our Export Marketing team is always on the move and continuously responds to the latest developments within the FMCG. The team, consisting of a Marketing Manager, three International Brand Managers, and one Packaging Coordinator, is responsible for all marketing activities, whereby the application of innovations, promotions, activations, and a channel-specific approach are important focus points.

The Export team is based in Breda and has the responsibility for 17 export markets, which are all distributor-managed. This means that as an International Brand Manager within this team, you have a great opportunity to expand your marketing experience in an international environment.

This is what your fresh start as International Brand Manager will look like.

The day starts with a virtual meeting with our media agency in Sweden. We are all excited because they are going to present a proposal for the next Mentos rolls campaign in the country. Before lunch, you work on an urgent email to the regulatory department about a new Mentos Gum flavor in Israel. Afterwards, we celebrate a project review meeting where all the team members share their updates on the status of the different projects. Before going home, there is still time to work on a Chupa Chups briefing for a new Halloween bag, a call with our sales team, and to send some more emails.

Your core tasks in a nutshell:

  • Responsible for the performance (qualitative and quantitative) of the PVM brands in the region under your responsibility;
  • Lead annual brand plan development for the key brands/markets under your responsibility;
  • Lead the implementation of the media campaign for your brands;
  • Responsible for NPD development. Actively contribute to the launch plan for the strategic NPDs;
  • Regularly analyze and report the status/performance of the brands under your responsibility and the relevant competitors;
  • Support the Marketing manager in market research studies.

The ideal recipe for our International Brand Manager:

That you are creative, organized, and love to work in an international environment we probably do not have to tell you (but we do it anyway!). To us, these are the ideal ingredients to be successful in this role:

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Business Administration or Marketing.
  • At least 3 years of experience within Marketing FMCG, ideally in an international context;
  • Action-oriented, with the ability to follow-through and achieve results in a complex environment;
  • Well-structured, but with a pragmatic approach to decision-making and problem-solving;
  • Strong capabilities working with MS Office. Experience with SAP is a plus;
  • Experienced working with Nielsen and/or other market data tooling;
  • Proven experience implementing and managing online & offline media campaigns;
  • Affinity and knowledge of the Hebrew culture is a plus;
  • Effective interpersonal communication and consultative skills, both verbal and written in English; Dutch is a plus;
  • You are willing to travel (<20% of the time), because you will become part of an international-oriented team!
  • You feel a genuine passion for marketing.
