Account Manager

Unleash your passion for Client & Account management! We are looking for an Account Manager who loves, lives, and breathes these areas. This role is part of our Client Service team in Copenhagen.

At DEPT®, we combine data, technology, creative content, and paid media to solve brands’ business problems and drive revenue through a variety of digital marketing solutions, such as ad campaigns, augmented reality, and chatbots.

Job Purpose

As an Account Manager at DEPT®, you work in close collaboration with our strong team of strategists, project managers, and specialists to define the work scope, support in building project plans, and come up with innovative suggestions that can help the client maximize their potential within digital marketing. You will have a portfolio of clients but can also be part of the conversation with new potential clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • First, you can strategically advise your clients about their digital marketing strategy with a strong foundation in data, making them nod in silence because they didn’t think about it themselves.
  • Secondly, you set high standards for your client collaborations by being the link between the DEPT® specialist team and your clients, ensuring that each project is executed according to deadlines and in line with quality & performance targets.
  • Lastly, you take care of your clients and build trusting relationships with them. You go that extra mile. You show a genuine interest in them, remembering their birthdays and kids’ names. You make them feel understood, appreciated, and taken care of.

We Envision That You,

  • Have approximately 3 years of experience with digital marketing, either from an agency or a relevant in-house role;
  • Have a good business sense and can demonstrate proficiency in tackling strategic business challenges and providing clients with guidance to achieve their objectives;
  • Master the art of aligning expectations, and can accurately estimate project timeliness;
  • Can scope work, are not afraid to negotiate, and can actively contribute to resolving process and project-related issues;
  • Your strong communication skills enable you to take the stage and confidently present your ideas and visions in front of others;
  • Actively follow the newest trends in the digital space and are able to separate hype from relevant business impact;
  • Can accurately interpret data and have a solid analytical understanding of performance, forecasting, and budget management;
  • Given the focus on digital marketing, hands-on experience with one of the following areas can be beneficial: Paid Social, Paid Search, Programmatic, SEO – as well as experience with Google Analytics;
  • Have fluent proficiency in both written and spoken Danish and English.
