Are you passionate about setting up Data Products within the new Customer Data Domain, part of Customer Data Solutions? Do you want to play a pivotal role in implementing ABN Amro's data strategy? Data is one of our bank's most valuable assets. As we rapidly transition to a digital environment, we're generating a vast amount of relevant data. We're seeking colleagues who are eager to contribute to data solutioning, design, modeling, and value creation. If you are a team player who thrives in an innovative environment and loves to help deliver a trustworthy data ecosystem that adds value, and if you embody a scrum/agile mindset with relevant (direct or indirect) experience in Product Ownership, please apply!

Your job

As a Data Product Owner in the Customer Data Products team, you'll be instrumental in creating all data products within the CDS Data Office. We transform golden data sources into ready-to-use data products for the rest of the organization. You facilitate a smooth transition from business requirements to user stories.

You will lead one or more agile teams focused on the continuous development of data-related products, services, and processes. You make informed decisions and ensure clear prioritization to achieve the Data Product team's objectives. The team includes data modelers, business developers and data engineers.

You will collaborate closely with other (Data) Product Owners and the consumers of your data products. You will report directly to the Lead Data Product Owner and work together to develop a robust future vision to mature our data management capabilities.

Strong communication skills are essential. You will play a crucial role in enforcing and monitoring a single version of the truth, ensuring all data transformations are performed within the data product teams.

Working environment

Customer Data Solutions (CDS) is a newly formed department within the COO organisation. We are end-to-end responsible for generic customer processes and all customer and relationship data (Customer and Party data). This data is made available to all authorized internal stakeholders and external parties via data products. The CDS data office consists of four teams: BI & Data Analytics, Customer & Party Data Products (this role), Data Enablement, and the Customer & Party Golden Data Team.

The Team: Customer & Party Data Products

We are a new and evolving team, responsible for delivering Data Products. We create the actual products, solve complex data issues related to Customer Data, and act as advisors.

Culture

“You can rely on us!” CDS provides the foundation for many processes within the bank, so it's critical that we demonstrate reliability to our stakeholders. We achieve this in an inclusive work environment where everyone feels welcomed.
