About the role

We are looking for a social media enthusiast to join our Amsterdam-based Marketing team for a 6-month internship. You'll be part of the communications team, reporting to our Social Media Lead and collaborating with various marketing departments on multiple projects and initiatives.

What you will do:

• Assist in designing and implementing social media strategies aligned with business goals.
• Help draft editorial calendars and manage day-to-day operations of corporate social media channels.
• Support the creation of global social media campaigns tailored to specific audiences and channels.
• Monitor and engage with our online social community to maintain a positive presence.
• Help maintain and enforce editorial style guidelines for social content.
• Stay updated on trends and best practices in social media tools, channels, and strategy.
• Promote social sharing and employee engagement within the organization.
• Regularly update internal teams on trending topics and channel performance insights.
• Assist in developing and executing social media measurement and reporting.

What you have:

• Interest in understanding social media platforms within a B2B environment.
• Basic understanding of managing social media channels for a global brand and creating diverse content.
• Strong writing skills with the ability to contribute to editorial calendars.
• Familiarity with major social media platforms like LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube/Vimeo.
• Willingness to learn how to test and optimize digital content on social channels.
• Ability to identify opportunities that fit the Bynder brand standards.
• Creative mindset for drafting and implementing social content.
• Basic analytical skills and a willingness to learn how to drive meaningful actions from reporting.
• Familiarity with tools like Hootsuite and Google Analytics is a plus.
• Interest in managing C-suite/senior leadership social profiles is a plus.

Qualifications:

• Fluent in English with strong communication skills.
• Currently enrolled in a Dutch university.
• Available for a 6-month internship starting October 2024.
• Passion for marketing and social media.
• Creative thinker with a proactive and enthusiastic approach.
