PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

KARL LAGERFELD is looking for a young talented Social Media Intern to assist in managing a growing social media presence. Cross-functional role reporting to communication, marketing & e-com teams to maximize brand content production and use across all direct-to-consumer communication platforms. You will support campaign initiatives, and content creation, work with influencers and help identify areas of growth for the company. This is a 6-month position starting in March and you will be reporting to the Social Media Team Lead.

Community management

  • Post creative assets on all social media platforms.
  • Partner closely with the Social Media Coordinator on the conception of the monthly editorial calendar.
  • Monitor social media performances & conversations on a daily basis

Content Creation

  • Assist in the ideation and creation of videos.
  • Constantly on the look for new trends to adapt to the brand’s values and identity.
  • Help identify content creators that fit our brand.
  • Contribute to developing a strong content strategy for the success of the brand on the platform.

Analysis and Report

  • Support management with data & KPI reports
  • Assist with benchmarks, audits, and monthly social reports outlining organic social successes and learnings.

Requirements

  • Interest in Fashion, Luxury, and Retail industries.
  • Team player Agility, flexibility Experience with content creation and community management.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, especially TikTok (understanding the
  • platform’s lingo, can create content, follow trends)
  • Video editing skills for TikTok and Instagram.
  • Project management skills with good knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
  • Being fluent in English, and French is a plus.
