Organisation

The Netherlands Water Partnership (NWP) is the Dutch water sector’s network organisation. The Netherlands has a rock-solid reputation when it comes to water, we believe this expertise can make a difference worldwide. Because of this, we help the Dutch water sector share, connect, and involve in opportunities related to export, international cooperation, and promotion.

The NWP has around 200 members, profit and non-profit organisations, from water technology to water infrastructure, NGO and government. We help our members to join forces and create a positive impact worldwide. NWP’s ambition is to double the international impact of the Dutch water sector through its contribution to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.

We're seeking a highly motivated, results-driven and proactive intern to join our team. During your internship, you will be part of the Marketing and Communications department which is made up of a Communications team, an Events team and Business Relationship Management team. The department falls under the responsibility of the Manager Marketing and Communications.

Your role

  • Participate in team meetings & brainstorm sessions;
  • Collaborate on various social media campaigns (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, as well as new options in terms of branding & messaging);
  • Create professional looking social media banners and presentations in Powerpoint and Canva;
  • Support the Events team in organising Netherlands Pavilions at international trade fairs, incoming & outgoing trade missions and learning weeks, bi-lateral delegation visits
  • Support the Communications team in writing English copy for newsletters, website, e-mailings, social media, etc.;
  • Support the BRM team in terms of customer relationship management (Tribe), the members overview, and overall accuracy (admin);
  • Assist BRM team in development and formatting of content about and for our members;
  • Collaborate with the BRM team in organising member events;
  • Video editing.

Optional: Opportunity exists for independent market research or project assignment, depending on candidate's interest and needs within NWP.
