About the Role

Professional Services is an interdisciplinary team working with Bynder's support, development, and customer success teams to tackle a diverse range of customer technical requests within our service level agreements. As a Database Engineer, you'll be the go-to problem solver in a dynamic and flexible environment, working independently on a wide range of projects while collaborating with other teams internally. Customer happiness is our main goal but there is always a cold beer waiting for you at the end of each day.

What You Will Do

• Managing asset migrations
• Preparing custom reports for analytics purpose
• Building automated reports
• SSL certificate renewal
• Enhancing customer experience with their metadata via API

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Competent Python / Bash programming skills
• Experience with MySQL / PostgreSQL
• Linux knowledge (preferably Ubuntu)
• Amazon Web Services knowledge
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with teammates from other disciplines
• 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar job

What You Have

• Ability to quickly learn and understand the Bynder backend structure
• Comfortable translating non-technical questions into technical solutions
• Reliable with a strong passion for delivery
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proactive with a bias towards action
• Familiarity with basic security principles
• Experience in server administration is a plus
