Your responsibilities

As a Product Owner, you will work closely with Product Owners, Product Managers, and Software Architects, refining and defining feature functionality and acceptance criteria to meet the product roadmap. You will gather and define software requirements through user epics and stories to meet Vanderlande's customer needs. Additionally, this role prioritizes software construction activities, using a release management strategy within an Agile culture and cooperating with software development teams. As a SME leader, your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with Sales and Product Management on market research, future features, and functionalities to meet new market demands
  • Working with Solution Architects to define solutions and estimate costs
  • Creating technical and feature roadmaps, release planning, sprint goals, and grooming functionality for multiple development projects
  • Managing project conflicts, challenges, and dynamic business requirements to meet deliverables
  • Communicating with management and stakeholders on project milestones and KPIs
  • Conducting post mortem and root cause analysis with teams to improve the construction process
  • Working with test engineers to build testing scenarios for system validation in the release management process

Your qualifications and skills

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of technical/operational experience in the Material Handling domain or similar environment
  • At least 3 years of experience in Agile methodologies as a product owner and/or scrum master
  • Expertise in defining event-driven applications based on domain-driven designs utilizing micro-services
  • Experience in automation and control-based systems
  • Strong coaching skills in implementing SAFe or Agile scrum
  • Working knowledge of application development/deployment within cloud systems (Azure, AWS, etc.)
  • Good interpersonal skills and influence within various organizational levels
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment with competing priorities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

The position offers a competitive salary range of €4610 to €6200 gross per month (excluding 8% holiday allowance). With outstanding performance, there may be opportunities to grow beyond this scale.
