As Virtuagym keeps on growing, we are now looking for a new face to complement our Marketing team. As PR Manager, you will be responsible for building and executing our global PR and Communication strategy. You will work closely with our marketing team and company-wide stakeholders to promote our company’s story, engage with media outlets, and enhance our public image. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of the fitness industry, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with media professionals. This is a remote position available in the EU, where you will be working for our office based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. You will be hired remotely through the national entity of our global employment partner.

What You’ll Do in This Role

• Develop and implement comprehensive PR strategies that support our marketing goals and enhance our brand visibility.
• Develop Virtuagym’s global messaging and positioning and, together with our Country Directors, localize it in our core markets.
• Cultivate relationships with journalists, bloggers, and influencers in the fitness industry to secure media coverage and promote our company’s story.
• Write and distribute press releases, media pitches, and other PR materials that effectively communicate our brand message.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to craft compelling stories that help establish Virtuagym as a thought leader among its target audiences.
• Develop and implement crisis communication plans to protect and manage our brand reputation in times of controversy or crisis.
• Track and analyze the effectiveness of PR campaigns and media coverage, and provide regular reports to senior management.
• Work closely with the marketing team and company-wide stakeholders to ensure PR activities align with overall marketing strategies and initiatives.

What You Will Bring to the Team

• You have 3+ years of experience in PR and Comms, either in-house or in an agency environment.
• You have a strong understanding of the fitness industry, including current trends and media landscape.
• You have native-level proficiency in either English, German, or Dutch, with excellent communication and writing skills.
• You have good written and verbal communication skills in English; you know how to write appealing content for prospects and customers and express yourself to different stakeholders.
• You are a self-starter, highly skilled in handling multiple projects at once, and a master at prioritization and getting things done.
• You know how to improvise, think creatively, and be an enthusiastic problem solver, coming up with creative and unorthodox ideas to engage prospects.
• You know how to deal with a fast-paced scale-up environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities — B2B and SaaS experience are a plus.
• You are analytical and data-driven with an openness to change course as needed based on consistent measurement and tracking.
