Digital Marketing Intern

As a Digital Marketing Intern at iSHARE, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our mission and gain hands-on experience in the dynamic field of digital marketing.

Our Digital Marketing Intern will be co-responsible for developing, executing, and reporting on marketing plans and initiatives for iSHARE Foundation and the iSHARE Trust Framework.

Responsibilities

Content Creation:

• Create engaging and relevant content for our digital channels, including website, social media, newsletters and email marketing.
• Collaborate with team members to develop content that creates awareness and drives to adoption such as cheat sheets, infographics, white papers, etc.

Social Media Management:

• Manage and update iSHAREs social media accounts to increase brand visibility and engagement. (LinkedIn, X and YoutTube)
• Monitor social media trends and suggest strategies to enhance our online presence.

Email Marketing/Newsletter:

• Support the planning and execution of iSHARE’s newsletter and marketing campaigns to reach target audiences.
• Assist in creating compelling content and analyse campaign performance.

Analytics and Reporting:

• Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) for digital marketing initiatives.
• Generate reports on campaign performance and provide insights for optimization.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO):

• Assist in optimising website content for search engines to improve organic visibility.
• Stay updated on SEO best practices and implement strategies to enhance iSHARE's online discoverability.

Market Research:

• Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and potential opportunities for iSHARE.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on research findings.

Skills and Qualifications

• Currently enrolled and will be for the entire duration of the internship in a Dutch educational institution
• Master's program in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• You are already based in the Netherlands and have accommodation arrangements in place.
• You are available for a 40h/week internship.
• Completed a Bachelor's degree in Marketing , Communications, or a related field.
• Open to learning and gaining a deep understanding of data sharing.
• Experience in marketing technology products.
• Ability to simplify complex topics.
• Awareness of the target audience’s needs and knowledge levels.
• Creativity and attention to detail.
• Strong storytelling abilities.
• Excellent communication skills (speaking, reading, and writing). Visual communication skills are a plus.
• Self-learner, proactive, and a solution provider.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders
• Understanding of digital marketing concepts and tools.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven recommendations.
• Proactive and self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and contribute.
• A Dutch-speaking person is preferred. English proficiency at a professional level is a plus.
• Tools and Software: GSuite, Canva, WordPress, Social Media (LinkedIn, X, and YouTube). Understanding of other related software and tools is a plus (Jira, Miro, Monday, etc.
