You & your position

The IAM team at Rabobank manages all identities and access permissions to our global network. Rabobank uses a state-of-the-art IAM systems to manage e.g. IGA and PAM. Our ambition is to further grow to a platform providing IAM services that are secure by design, seamless and plug-and-play for end users and most of all: Digital Only!

As part of a DevOps team your key responsibility is to translate our IAM vision into designs and specifications, interacting with key stakeholders to achieve the best possible result. The designs you create need to adhere to the requirements prescribed in the information security and compliance frameworks that Rabobank uses to manage information security and risks.

That is what makes this such a challenging role: finding the optimum between implementing what needs to be done for risk & compliance and reaching for the best possible solutions delivering the end-user value as promised in our ambitious strategy.

For this we expect you have an excellent generic grasp of IAM in general and specifically on the capabilities of IAM solutions in the market today, to match needs and requirements to standards and capabilities of the tools we work with.

The team you will be part of, consists of 5 -7 DevOps engineers and takes responsibility for the full lifecycle, from idea to implementation, including the operation. Their focus is to orchestrate access to, and usage of the “identity fabric” represented by the various IAM tools and solutions that are intricately woven together to form a converged identity management system.

Together with your DevOps team you will be responsible for:

  • Play a pivotal role in the translation of our IAM vision to next-level business & design principles, taking into account information security & risk requirements
  • Analyse existing policies and propose improvements to enhance security and agility.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand IAM requirements, in user access, authentication, authorization, role/policy-based access control.
  • Conduct business process analysis, (re)define and/or improve IAM processes.
  • Work closely with architects and technical teams to ensure that the IAM solutions are implemented according to design principles and specifications.
  • Work with Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) Specialists to identify security controls and find appropriate mitigating solutions,
  • Apply applicable rules, laws, regulations, internal policies and procedures to our IAM processes,
  • Supervise and coordinate relevant issues within the IAM backlog.

You are trained to effectively apply business analysis methods and best practices. You can multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

In addition, it is important that you recognise everything in the checklist below:

  • Master degree
  • 3+ years of experience in in relevant aspects of this profile
  • Strong understanding of IAM concepts, including authentication, authorization, and access control.
  • Experience with IAM systems, such as One Identity, Sailpoint or similar.
  • Experience with business process analysis and process improvement methodologies.
  • Certification in Business Analysis (e.g. PMI-PBA or CBAP) preferred
  • Learning and knowledge-sharing attitude
  • Strong interpersonal skills

What we offer you

  • a salary between € 4292,- and € 6130,- gross a month (scale 9)
  • a thirteenth month and holiday pay of 8% annually
  • an Employee Benefit Budget (10% of your monthly salary). You decide how to spend this budget. This may include purchasing extra leave days, making extra pension contributions or even receiving a monthly cash payout
  • flexible working times and location-independent working;
  • Reimbursement for commuting costs when you travel by public transport, car or motorbike;
  • a pension scheme, to which your contribution is only 3,5% or 5,5%, that's up to you.
