THE ROLE

  • VMD staff for Consumer Beauty will lead strategic in-store presenation and visual merchandising efforts across the Japanese market in accordance with all the brand guidelines for our entire portfolio of brands under the COTY Consumer Beauty Division.
  • VMD staff for Consumer Beauty will be the bridge between our internal Marketing Team to spearhead and execute best-in-class CB Business excellence for our points-of-sale and products to support the achievement of our commercial KPIs. You will also hold project management responsibilities for our business expansion and acceleration plans.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

NEW DOOR OPENING/REPLACEMENT/REGULAR SHELF CHANGES (REGULAR SHELF MANAGEMENT)

  • Work closely with Trade Marketing and Brand Management Team all regular shelving plan
  • Ensure all VM collaterals needed for listed chains stores are planned, ordered and catered for
  • Logically and creatively analyse regular shelf effectiveness and efficiency before/after periodical changes by fully utislising Store Manager (shelving software) i.e. ABC analyses, POS/Off-take & shelving correation analysesetc., identify key issues/opportunities & implications for the next regular shelf change and propose the improved/reinforced shalving patters with considering strategic intent veleoped by Brand Management team

PERIODICAL SECONDARY SPACE PRESENTATION (PROMTIONAL DISPLAY MANAGEMENT)

  • As part of the integrated commercial plan, assist to ensure that support is given to your Marketing Team in terms of visual merchandising updates as well as animations, including PR and consumer events
  • Communicate the specific needs of the local market to the Regional team during the submission and approval process
  • Retro-planning for all in-store promotions is required to ensure the Acitivity Calendar and deadlines are well managed
  • Ensure quality execution with a touch of CB finesse, which is required for the COTY portfolio of brands

Handle all POSMs with alignment from Brand Management team

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • Minimum 3 years relevant working experiences or previous experience in cosmetics
  • You can work independently in a fast-moving working environment with tight deadlines
  • You have experience working in global company, is a strong communicator and cooperates well with both internal and external stakeholders
  • You are consumer

    centric and possess a good understanding of consumer journey and shopper’s experience

    , with basic marketing skills, parciularly strategic thinking skill
  • Workable English in both written and oral communication
  • Good PC skills and familiar with word, Excel, PPT, AI, PS and Store Manager (shelving software).
  • University graduate from artistic college
  • Travel as required
