JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Provide support in day-to-day tasks within the Product Merchandising department with a focus on the Karl Lagerfeld Jeans line.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Weekly market feedback, analyze sales performance – sell in and sell out
  • Competitor benchmarking and trend research
  • Support with range plan and pricing strategy of the Karl Lagerfeld Jeans collection
  • Maintaining seasonal product calendar
  • Analyse historical data and prepare all in-sales reports (best sellers, efficiency, etc.)
  • Communicate style information to the rest of the company
  • Sales tool and line book set-up with product development
  • Support preparing presentations of the division based on merchandising & product
  • Assist with lookbook photoshoots
  • Ad hoc administration tasks

Main Relationships:

  • Design, Production & Product Development, Retail and Wholesale teams

Skills Education & Experience:

  • Fashion, retail or business-related studies
  • Language: fluent in English, both verbal and written
  • International experience
  • An eye for detail and consistency
  • Familiar with MS Office, especially XLS and PPT

Profile:

  • Able to work independently as well as in a team
  • Flexibility, adaptability and a positive "can-do" attitude are a must
  • Has an eye for detail and consistency
  • Insight into the merchandising function
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Be up to date with the latest trends and design

Start Date: July 2024/ Available for 6 months / Full-Time
