The Digital department is responsible for the online experience. In the coming years, we will significantly enhance Eneco's chat, app, and web environments to be more digital and smart, aiming to deliver a superior digital customer & employee experience.

As a (senior) Frontend Developer, you will have the opportunity to be part of a dynamic, cross-functional scrum team. This team is part of the innovative Virtual Power Plant (VPP) initiative, a cutting-edge solution designed to revolutionize the energy sector. As a member of our team, you will contribute to the dynamic allocation of assets across all flexibility markets, optimizing operations for behind-the-meter activities. Our VPP is not only a technical marvel but also a key player in our commitment to becoming a CO2 neutral energy company by 2035. • Further developing the frontend of the VPP with a focus on usability, responsiveness, and performance.

• Writing unit tests with Vitest

• Writing and helping QA with end to end tests (Playwright)

• Developing Single Page Applications with Vue.js.

• Keeping the websites and the components you build operational (DevOps).

• HBO/WO level of thinking and working, with experience in agile methodologies.

• You excel in JavaScript\TypeScript, React.js, HTML5, CSS, and are proficient in using Vue.js.

• Experience with SignalR, Apache Echart and Pinia.

• At least 5 years of experience in building high-performance websites in our (or similar) stacks.

• Proficiency in Dutch and/or English is important.

You will work in our VPP (Virtual power plant) team together with back-end engineers, designers and QA people.
