Pricing Analyst Are you a customer-centric and data-driven individual? Do you enjoy responding to pricing inquiries and guiding decision-making of our customers? About our Team Working within Amsterdam based Journal and Books Pricing Teams, the Pricing Analyst will devise price points that maximize revenue and profitability, on a sustainable basis, through analytics of internal and third-party data, interpretation, synthesis of results, and communication to stakeholders. It is a global function and will involve maintaining and creating agreed pricing frameworks for the Journals and Books portfolio in the different markets and segments and leverage them in the Sales function. About the Role The Pricing Analyst partners with the Pricing team and a business unit to understand stakeholders' business strategies. They perform necessary analyses to guide sustainable and profitable revenue growth globally. The role provides crucial pricing support to sales teams for new deals and renewals. Responsibilities Covering the complete Journals and Books sales portfolio in time. Evaluating the effectiveness of pricing strategies and modifying pricing structures as needed that can be deployed in the region. Enforcing agreed frameworks. Providing reporting and documentation of pricing structures. Serving as the point-of-contact for pricing inquiries from internal sales department, but not customers Exploring alternative pricing options to drive trial in innovation Requirements Have a Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative, scientific, or business-related field Experience in a financial, quantitative, or commercially-focused role Have excellent technical ability in Excel. Other experiences with solutions like Tableau or MS BI Have a problem-solving mindset and stakeholder management Able to work full time and unrestricted in Amsterdam Work in a way that works for you We promote a healthy work/life balance across the organisation.
