About the Department:

BYD is rapidly expanding operations in the UK. The UK Network team are laying the foundations for the brand by establishing a strong franchise retailer network. However, this is no ordinary Network Development role with the team driving unprecedented network growth targeting 80 stores by the end of 2024!

About the role

As a Network Operations Specialist, you will support the development of our existing stores related to standards, corporate identity, and systems projects. This role involves frequent travel, a valid driver's license, and collaboration with retailers and various departments across the business. Main Tasks and responsibilities:

• Network Monitoring Implementation – Implement a comprehensive programme based on agreed parameters, including physical site standards and sales process assessments
• Retailer Store Assessments – Maintain a database containing the latest status of the retailer network across key measurements, such as compliance with corporate identity standards.
• Retailer Systems – Lead key projects related to retailer systems, including integrations for reporting and lead/order management.
• Retailer relationships

  Maintain close communication and relationships with existing retailers, ensuring their needs are addressed and fostering ongoing collaboration.

• Retailer onboarding

  Collaborate with internal departments across the entire business, including sales, marketing, logistics, and product development, to ensure seamless onboarding

• Reporting

  Monitor and report on key performance indicators and network development milestones to the management team and in BYDs systems

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Experience in network development, operations, dealership systems, or a similar role within the automotive industry is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with dealerships and internal teams.
• Ability to travel frequently and hold a valid driver's license.
• Strategic thinking and analytical skills
• Result-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving targets and expanding market presence.
