In this role you will support Van Oord with designing and documentation of organisational processes. You will work with internal stakeholders in different departments or business units, conducting thorough analysis or current processes and way of working, identify inefficiency, bottlenecks and areas and improvement.
YOUR IMPACT
- Process analysis, design and documentation: design new processes or redesign existing processes to improve efficiency; create flowcharts that are clear and comprehensive;
- Performance management: establish KPIs to measure process effectiveness, review process performance;
- Project management: lead or participate in process improvement projects, coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success;
- Stakeholder management: work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements, build strong relationship with key stakeholders to dive process improvement initiative;
- Change management: develop and execute change management to support process changes, communicate changes effectively and monitor the impact of the changes and make adjustments as necessary.
Your workplace
In this position you will be part of the QHSE Systems department, consisting of 6 colleagues. The department’s role is making sure that the processes and systems that are used and deployed across the organisation are implemented and aligned. You will be based in Rotterdam and will be traveling from time to time to offices and projects around the world.
ABOUT YOU
You will need the following knowledge and experience to make this position a success.
- Minimum Bachelor degree or equivalent (business administration);
- At least ten years of work experience in process management related to QHSE processes, preferably in the similar industry: marine contracting, infrastructure, oil and gas. Experience with process mapping tools is a plus;
- Attention to details, analytical skills and problem solving skills: ability to analyse complex processes and data to identify issues and opportunities and develop effective solutions;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for creating documentation and conveying information;
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams and stakeholders.
