Electrical Engineer

What this position is about – Purpose

Electrical Engineer maintains, monitors and enhance Machine performance, ensures compliance with company and safety policies and procedures. Electrical Engineer is responsible for maintaining high performance, ensuring production targets and KPIs are meet with the highest quality and adhering safety standards.

What will you do – Responsibilities:

  • Design maintenance strategies, procedures and methods according to LCO standards. Plan and undertake scheduled maintenance activities in the Factory
  • Carry out routine inspections and TBM activities on machines to avoid malfunction and other problems with equipment. This might include replacing parts and checking & inspection of production lines parts
  • Manage stocks of supplies and equipment. Ordering and installing replacement parts. Control maintenance tools, stores and equipment. Monitor and control maintenance costs by maintain statistical and financial records.
  • Maintaining and enhancing 5S3R activities across factory premises in addition to taking an active role in ensuring continuous improvement initiatives and projects.
  • Respond to breakdowns and repair the equipment. Diagnose faults and breakdown problems. Fit new parts and make sure equipment is working correctly. Deal with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs.

Whom are we looking for – Requirements:

Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering

  • 3 - 5 years of experience in manufacturing environment
  • Arabic & English
  • Strong technical knowledge in Machine maintenance and production processes,
  • Adequate Tobacco industry knowledge
  • Good knowledge in MS Office applications (Excel, Word & PowerPoint),
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, leadership skills (Decision-making, motivation and goal-setting) and strong problem-solving skills.
