At EY, you’ll have the chance to build a career as unique as you are, with the global scale, support, inclusive culture, and technology to become the best version of you. And we’re counting on your unique voice and perspective to help EY become even better, too. Join us and build an exceptional experience for yourself, and a better working world for all. EY is the only professional advisory organization with a separate business unit ("CFO Consulting") that is fully equipped to serve the CFO agenda of both private and public organizations. CFO Consulting consists of tribes that jointly make it possible to provide advice on all topics on the CFO agenda.

The opportunity - What future are you building towards?

Financial services companies are navigating turbulent times, pressured to develop sustainable business models amidst a challenging regulatory environment and continuous cost reductions. As they adapt to shifting business models and leverage forecasting and data analytics, the finance function can enhance decision-making processes. The rising competition underscores the strategic role of the finance function in driving this transformation.

Responsibilities – How can you make a lasting impact in a rapidly changing world?

As a finance professional, you are eager to understand how insurers, banks, and other financial institutions are utilizing technological innovations to develop sustainable, future-proof strategies within the finance function. You grasp the current complexities of financial services companies and can identify future opportunities. Your enthusiasm is evident as you inspire your team and clients by providing innovative solutions and propositions. You blend your own expertise with EY's (inter)national methodologies to achieve this.

Responsibilities – How can you make a lasting impact in a rapidly changing world?

  • Formulate digital strategies for the finance function (i.e. P2P, O2C, R2R etc.). Develop capabilities and business insights to steer corporate strategy (become the effective ‘co-pilot’).
  • Translate business requirements into technology requirements and build business-oriented technology roadmaps.
  • Manage presales activities for complex finance technology transformation projects:
  • conduct discovery meetings with clients,
  • understand & map key finance processes,
  • do value-driven technology mapping,
  • lead tech teams for demo’s and POC exercises
  • Execute delivery of complex finance transformation programs.
  • Implement performance management cycles, including: KPI-frameworks, dashboards for financial reporting and solutions for planning, budgeting, and forecasting.

Job requirements – Where do you start if you want to change the world?

  • A university master’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Finance or Econometrics and a RA / RC qualification.
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience in the finance technology domain.
  • Acquaintance (preferably certifications and/or implementation exposure) with SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics, Workday or similar and you have a constant drive to keep learning about new technologies & software vendors.
  • You have evident experience in both presales and delivery of consultancy assignments.
  • Capabilities to communicate in a clear manner about complex problems in all layers of an organization.
  • You are self- motivated, taking initiative and you are willing to be challenged daily with a ‘learn it all’ mindset.

We seek strong team players who support their colleagues in achieving their goals while also managing their own workload and professional development. If you are ambitious, eager to learn new things daily, thrive on delivering top-quality work, and have the confidence to speak up and influence a team impacting major businesses globally, this role is perfect for you.
