Allseas is looking for a hands-on SAP Developer to oversee our SAP developments. We have started a company-wide SAP S/4HANA migration (Programme Flow) and you will have a leading role within the implementation and the transition to the run-organisation regarding the vision around keeping the SAP core clean and all extensibility options.

The SAP Technology team is currently part of Programme Flow for the business transition and will move to the IT department after a successful Go-Live. The programme is running S/4HANA in the SAP Private Cloud, but still requires a proper vision around keeping the core clean with the available extensibility options. Because Allseas is new to the SAP-world, this vision is still evolving and requires an SAP developer to know when to choose what options.

The IT Department is responsible for the design, maintenance and support of Allseas’ information technology infrastructure, in order to enable the organization to leverage both information and technology in an efficient, productive and secure manner.

Your role

As an SAP Build and ABAP developer, you feel comfortable in the ever-evolving technological landscape of SAP. You are pivotal in the creation, implementation and upkeep of software solutions that enhance and streamline business processes.

You will embark on a key role where you’ll be at the forefront of designing, developing, and implanting cutting-edge SAP software solution. Your expertise will be instrumental in translating business requirements into precise technical specifications.

There is an intrinsic drive to make collaborations seamless in your style. Even when facing cross-functional teams, it will be your second nature to still keep on working towards successful implementations and integrations of developments done on SAP. You are going to be a driving force in shaping the future of SAP within Allseas regarding SAP software developments.

We have a diverse application landscape including SAP S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, Ariba and Business Technology Platform. You and your colleagues serve as a contact for IT and business colleagues to advise them on WRICEF elements:

  • Develop best practice procedures for SAP configuration and customization.
  • Find ways to keep the core clean that require you to not always dive into the old best practices around customizing SAP applications. But you still can get the best out of the modules and functionalities.
  • Design, code and test complex programs and scripts to enhance existing SAP systems and resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Analyze and debug SAP software applications to identify and resolve technical issues and/or bugs.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including system design documents, test scripts, and user manuals.
  • Perform system analysis and performance tuning to optimize the performance of SAP applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of SAP systems with other applications and platforms (typically with the help of an SAP Integration Specialist).
  • Maintain and monitor the performance of the SAP landscape with respect to WRICEF elements.
  • Keep up-to-date with developments in the fields of ABAP, SAP Build and Fiori apps.
  • Contribute with your expert knowledge on integration to the overall architecture of our digital landscape with the architecture team.
