What you will do

As a Sales intern for our Amsterdam-based team, you’ll focus on our optimisation efforts in your assigned destinations. You'll be based in Amsterdam and will report directly to the Regional Manager. You’ll be involved in the growth of venues and activities through our instant delivery and mobile ticketing solution.

By analysing the market of attractions, museums, theme parks and other activities in the region, you’ll help create a strategic supply advantage. You’ll help our established partnerships thrive in established and new cities throughout your destinations and work closely with the regional and HQ teams. You’ll support our Success Managers in the operative daily tasks: inventory management, market analysis, product creation and commercial optimisation.

The Region currently encompasses the following countries: The Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Poland and South Africa.

For the right candidate, this is an excellent opportunity to grow your coordinative skills, and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic scale-up.

Projects we are working on:

No day is the same at the Amsterdam office. Our daily mission is to contract new supply and guarantee the best results for our existing products in the region.

Ad-hoc projects, like teaming up with world-renowned landmarks to host exclusive events or press covered activities are spicing up the life of our office, bringing new challenges every day.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the commercial growth of the region by strategically analysing our current supply and actioning optimisation tasks
  • Develop landscape and competitive market analysis
  • Manage the operative pipeline and internal reporting tools
  • Proactively manage and update the exhibitions and temporary events calendar
  • Monitor customers reviews and forward input to the Regional Manager, suppliers and other departments to improve the quality of the products.
  • Support the coordination of the supply inventory management (including monitoring, alerting, forecasting, ordering, loading and reporting)

Your skills

  • Good knowledge of Office package and Google Workspace tools (Gmail, Calendar, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Google Slides)
  • Proactive, flexible, able to multitask and organise priorities
  • Good communication skills
  • Detail and result oriented

What you'll need:

  • This internship is available with a start date of 1st September, 2024
  • You are enrolled as a student in a relevant field of study (Business Administration, Tourism, Hospitality, or similar) for the whole period of the internship. If you are not a student we cannot proceed!
  • Fluent in English and Dutch
  • You are available for a period of 5 to 6 months, full-time
  • You are living in the Netherlands, close to Amsterdam (due to commuting purposes)
  • You have a positive, “can-do” attitude, you are a strong team player and you are not afraid of being persistent to close a deal
  • You think out-of-the-box to find creative solutions for persisting challenges, and you are able to identify key stakeholders to help you build them
  • Having ticketing or tourism industry experience is a plus
  • You're highly energetic, result-driven, and like getting things done with attention to detail
  • You can work independently and have a great sense of responsibility

What to expect from our Interview process:

This is a 2 round interview process. You will meet first with our Recruiter for an introductory call, then a possible team interview with our Regional Manager and Success Manager.
