You will be a valuable asset of the Global Procurement Dairy Ingredients team, and will support senior buyers with day-to-day business, within the category of Whey Derivatives. We offer you a great opportunity to look into one of the essential resources of Danone, to collaborate in a multicultural environment and to be a key part of the implementation of sourcing strategies. You will be fully involved and have real responsibilities within business processes, supplier performance’s evaluation in the manufacturing facilities, tracking implementation of corporate contracts, and generating and supporting productivity and optimization projects. Your responsibilities:
Business Continuity Plan – work on 2/3 specific projects identified at the beginning of the internship
a. Support the business in securing materials through leading supplier validation or reformulation projects
b. Monitor progress of projects
c. Report and communicate results to buyers, stakeholders and Management
Productivity Program – work on 1/2 specific projects identified at the beginning of the internship
a. Support the business in achieving cost savings through leading productivity projects
b. Monitor progress of projects
c. Report and communicate results to buyers, stakeholders and Management
Sustainability
a. Build a supplier/material database to facilitate sustainability projects consolidation for Procurement function
Quality
a. Consolidate a supplier/material information related to new regulation on contaminants
Spend Data & Analysis
a. Consolidate data from complete network - 23 supply points across Europe, Asia and Americas
b. Complete analysis and forecast cycles for each supplier
c. Communicate results and forecasts to the appropriate factories
d. Support in price forecasting exercise
OVER JOUYou are a Bachelor’s/Master’s student in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, Industrial Engineering or another related field. You are highly motivated and proactive. You have strong communication skills and like being in touch with multiple stakeholders, internally and externally. You are a self-starter, curious, and you are not afraid to share your opinion or ask questions when needed. You have proficient knowledge of Excel that can be used for efficient data analysis, and analytical skills to transform data into useful insights. Also, you are eager to learn and thrive in a dynamic environment that continuously challenges you.

You will be part of the Global Procurement Dairy Ingredients team, which is responsible for buying ingredients for our Specialized Nutrition business worldwide. You will get to work in an open-minded environment with approachable people that appreciate initiative and proactivity. You will work closely with and learn from buyers in the team, and will be supervised by the Global Senior Buyer, Dairy Ingredients & Whey Proteins.
We offer a gross monthly internship allowance 650 euros per month and a home working allowance/contribution towards travel. Please do keep in mind that we do not offer relocation and/or accommodation benefits for students coming from abroad.
* Please be aware that you must acquire a BSN number to receive the full internship allowance.
