What will you do?

You will support the team in the reporting towards our Managing Board, business heads and our shareholder. You will work together intensively with stakeholders on all levels in order to deliver timely and relevant management reporting providing performance insights and forecasts that can form the basis for the banks’ strategic decisions. Next to that, the Finance department is progressing in automating reports and your role would also include an active part in the effort to further refine our reporting processes via tooling such as Power BI.

Your core activities will be:

  • Prepare, analyse and provide insight via periodical management reporting figures
  • Support the team with the coordination of the budget process
  • Proactively challenge business partners on budget and forecast
  • Streamline and automate reporting processes to improve on speed, accuracy and insights
  • Establish and manage ongoing strong relationships with key stakeholders

Your team

You will be part of the Group Performance & Management Reporting team, which is an engaged and diverse team, consisting of 10 people ranging from the age of 22 to 45. As a team we try to find a good balance between delivering as promised and content of high quality while fostering an enjoyable atmosphere. Next to management reporting the team is also the center of expertise for cost control, forecasting, parts of the Annual Report, rating agency updates and ESG reporting besides supporting the wider Finance team in strategic improvement projects.

Preferred profile:

  • Bachelor or Master degree with a financial background
  • Starter or a maximum of 5 years experience
  • Analytical and accurate with great attention to detail and ability to work in a structured way
  • Team player and positive attitude with a can do mentality
  • Strong social and communication skills to all levels within the organisation
  • Ability to deal with ad hoc requests, often with tight deadlines
  • Affinity or experience with business intelligence tooling like Power BI or SAP BO
  • Fluent in English and Dutch (or willing to learn Dutch)
